Displaying the € Euro sign symbol

Post By:user_61963 | Reply

I'm migrating from Joomla 1.5 to Joomla 3.3 and on the old version the € symbol is displayed when loaded from the my table in the database, but in the new Joomla it won't be displayed, although it displays russian characters unlike Joomla 1.5.

How can I get it to display the € symbol?

At the moment it just shows -

Thanks if you can help

Next to Amount Paid the € displays fine, but as u can see when it's loaded from the database it comes up with , but i can write € fine in the box, :S.

Is it something to do like stripslashes?

just deleted the and replaced with € on my php page and now it displays fine...

font-family: "Segoe UI", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;

how do we know which fonts work with the euro sign?

What font are you using? The font may not have the character defined.
