Hello
After searching a lot for an ebook for Magento and while many users were asking it, I decided to make my own pdf file, from Magneto User’s Guide.
Feel free to download at:

Ok, we have new link for the magento users guide.

Thank you for the user guide.
But since it has the same content as the website, it does not really help me to find the right answers.
The whole create store thing is very confusing to me, a step by step guide would be great.
Also many details are not explained in the user guide, e.g. I learn how to create a role but have not the slightest idea what “role” means.
Could anybody suggest a good book for starters?
Best wishes

Just to add in to what I said; While I was discussing with my team of Magento Professionals for this ebook, they remarked: “Magento website itself is so informative with well navigation, that it helps a lot while confusions, upgradations, etc.... However, this ebook is good”.
Though we provide the best Magento support to our clients and have run a good number of projects for them, Magentocommerce.com has been always useful always!

Good stuff everything in one place.  Is there any place where I can buy a good book on Magento for users.  Also is there information some where, how to migrate from Zencart.

Also in search for a updated/indepth manual for the 1.1.8.
Something printerfriendly in .pdf or simillar.
Free or comercial, either type is fine just as long as I can get it out on paper.

yeah, you’re telling me!

For instance, I’m trying to add a new store view, and the guide doesn’t even address the whole “CODE” thing

Store *

Name *

Code *

Status *

Sort order

Like what are my options for CODE? What is it?  CODE??? Can we be a bit more descriptive?

I download version 1.1.8 on Nov. 30th, 2008.
I install it and it works fine.
Now I am having trouble setting up store.
I download the Manuel, and maybe I am looking at wrong version.
It makes me confusing.

Is there simple step how to upload product with example?

This is one spark of coherence in Magento’s documentation. I wish the wiki would be that easy to follow. You really kickstarted me on the way of Magento.
Many, many thanks, papvan!

Hi all!
considering that the file has been created on 7/26/2008, i assume it’s for the latest version, 1.1.2.-

Nevertheless, this is basic information taken/collected from Magento’s website, which is ok.

Hello!  red face

What version is this for? I downloaded it but I wonder if it is for Magento 1.1.2.? I installed the 1.1.2. verion and I need to study up on Magento off-line and this would be perfect but I really need to make sure I’m reading the current documentation. If not - would it be possible to post the new guide in a PDF format please?

Thanks a million!  kiss
