I had a product rule set up via Admin -> Catalog -> Rule-based product relations for on-the-fly related products on a EE v.1.12 test installation for a few thousand sample products, and it worked fine.
After I added about 50K+ products and tried modifying or creating a new product rule, I could no longer save this rule. It would almost immediately give me an HTTP 500 error after clicking on save. Additionally, the related products no longer showed on the product view.
The error is not being logged anywhere, and I’m not sure how to debug this. Any idea on how to find and fix this problem?
